When does the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink open and close for the season?

For the 2025-2026 season, the rink opens on October 11, 2025, and is open daily through early April 2026. Typical operating hours are from 9:00 AM to midnight. Check the official Rockefeller Center website for any updates or changes.

How do I buy tickets to skate?

Tickets for skating (and for non-skating chaperones) can be purchased online or on-site. Everyone entering the venue, even non-skaters, needs a ticket.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?

All tickets and chalet purchases are final sale; no refunds or reschedules. The exception is weather-related closures, which are eligible for refunds.

What is the entrance location for the Ice Rink?

The main entrance is on 49th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue. There’s also a secondary ADA-accessible entrance through The Rink Shop on the southeast side of the plaza.
