NYC Broadway Week is back this fall

NYC Broadway Week is back this fall — and if you want a real Broadway night without paying full price, this is the window to use.

Fall 2026 performances run Tuesday, September 8 through Sunday, September 20. Tickets went on sale August 18 at 10 a.m. ET. The deal is simple: buy two tickets for the price of one at participating shows. That is a 50% discount when you go with at least one other person.

The promotion is produced by New York City Tourism + Conventions in partnership with The Broadway League. Since it launched in 2011, organizers say it has sold more than 3 million tickets.

How the deal works

  • Book through the official site: nyctourism.com/broadwayweek
  • Minimum 2 tickets, maximum 8 tickets per order
  • Promo code 241BWSHOW for the 2-for-1 price
  • Promo code UPBWSHOW for select seat upgrades
  • Not every show has inventory on every date
  • Hit titles can sell out fast, so flexibility helps

You still pay regular service fees, and blackout dates apply. Check each listing before you lock in a night.

Participating shows (Fall 2026)

25 productions are in this season’s lineup:

Returning hits

  • Aladdin
  • The Book of Mormon
  • Buena Vista Social Club
  • Chicago
  • The Great Gatsby
  • Hadestown

  • The Lion King
  • Maybe Happy Ending
  • MJ the Musical

  • Just in Time
  • The Lost Boys
  • Paranormal Activity
  • The Rocky Horror Show
  • Schmigadoon!

That mix is useful: if Wicked or The Lion King is already gone, you can still land a strong night with Hadestown, Just in Time, The Rocky Horror Show, or Titaníque.

Why fall Broadway Week is worth it

Early September is usually a quieter window after summer travel and Labor Day. Producers use Broadway Week to fill seats. For visitors, that means better prices right when the city starts feeling like fall again: cooler nights, Theater District energy, and dinner before the show.

Quick booking tips

  1. Start on the official NYC Tourism page, not a random reseller.
  2. Filter by genre, Tony winners, or “last chance.”
  3. Pick a weekday if you can — inventory is often better than Friday/Saturday.
  4. Have a backup show ready.
  5. Pair it with a Theater District dinner so the whole night still feels like a splurge, just a smarter one.
