New York City has an energy unlike any city you’ve ever been to. It’s full of life, gritty, rough, stunningly beautiful, awe inspiring and just plain old soulful. It’s that New York soul that you miss so much when you are living elsewhere.
Aaron Keigher wanted to create a timelapse that captured that energy, that soul. When you think of the sound and feel of NYC, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show and The Late Show come to mind. Their opening music is the perfect soundtrack to the city. He knew he needed to give the look of the video a faster and more energetic feel, using some hyperlapses and transitions to zoom you around NYC – it’s something a little different than my normal style.
Thanks Aaron for this beautiful video.
