San Gennaro invades Little Italy for 11 days with Italian food and free entertainment

San Genaro is an annual feast that brings over one million people to the streets of Little ItalyÂin the annual salute to the Patron Saint of Naples.

The Feast of San Gennaro, originally a one-day religious commemoration, arrived in the United States in September 1926 when immigrants from Naples.

The Feast of San Gennaro is September 15 through the 25, located along Mulberry Street between Canal and Houston Streets. The festival stage is located on the corner of Grand and Motts Sts.
