Manhattanhenge or Manhattan Solsticehappens twice a year when the sun aligns east-west streets. During Manhattanhenge the observers on one of the griddest east-west streets will see the sun setting over New Jersey directly opposite.
The best view takes place on 42nd St, you’ll see the sun lined up with the center line of 42nd Street.
